The
Dividends
of
Diversity
UAB is a dynamic
blend of people, ideas and opportunities. Its success depends on diversity
– literally. To sustain its growth, UAB purchases a wide variety of goods
and services from local suppliers everyday.
The program’s
benefits touch entrepreneurs throughout Alabama. By increasing
opportunities for minority and women-owned suppliers, UAB boosts business
development throughout the city and state. As the university’s supplier
base expands, the economy expands and the community grows.
